Section 5: Roleplay over ruleplay
Section 5: Roleplay over ruleplay
The staff team will be the ones to decide whether something is considered to be ‘roleplay over ruleplay’.
What does it mean? If a scene dictates that a rule must be broken to enable roleplay to continue then roleplay overtakes ruleplay. We promote a balance of both roleplay and ruleplay, we get that in some situations roleplay will win over ruleplay.
However, rules are not there to be broken, intentionally creating a scene to break rules will result in strikes. We have made our ruleset, so that rules do not need to be broken to enable roleplay. If we find you are using the excuse “roleplay over ruleplay” to intentionally ruin someone's experience in Rustic then you will be removed. You are the problem, not them. If you are in a gang and go around robbing every civilian stating it is “roleplay” when in actual fact you are just breaking rules then the gang or MC will be removed from the city and all members involved striked.
