Section 3: Discord Rules

Discord is used as a primary communication method outside of the city. Announcements etc. will be posted on Discord. You must also be a member of the Discord to be able to join the city.

• 3.1 | Not everyone may share the same sense of humour as you. Be friendly; any toxic behaviour will be investigated.

• 3.2 | Any breaches of the Discord terms of service will result in a ban.

• 3.3 | Do not advertise other cities or Discords (without prior management approval) in the Rustic Discord.

• 3.4 | Any postings of torrents, piracy, cracks, or anything that breaches intellectual property rights will be removed, and your account will be banned from Rustic.

• 3.5 | Do not tag staff members or other members without a genuine reason. (Replying to other people's comments is fine.)

• 3.6 | We do not judge here; no racism, homophobic comments, or religious discussions will take place.

• 3.7 | Inciting drama will get you a strike. This includes (but is not limited to) publicly accusing someone, encouraging people to argue over a topic, defaming staff or other members, or RusticRP.

• 3.8 | If you are caught doxxing (revealing people's personal details without permission), you will be banned. No exceptions; all members, including staff, are subject to bans should this occur.

• 3.9 | IC (In Character) channels are prefixed with IC and can be used as though you are in the city. However, this is to be limited to general IC chat and not incite drama. (Stuff said in this chat can be taken into the city.)

• 3.10 | All other channels, unless specified, are OOC (no IC chat will take place in these; anything said in these channels CANNOT be taken into the city).

• 3.11 | If you have a problem with anyone (including staff), open a ticket; do not publicly post in a channel.

• 3.12 | Any threatening behaviour (including as a joke) can result in a strike or ban.

• 3.13 | Use the correct channels for the correct topics.

• 3.14 | If you see anyone breaking any of the above rules, report it by opening a ticket.

• 3.15 | Only members of SLT and above can lift Discord bans.

• 3.16 | The above rules are subject to change at any time. They are also not exhaustive, and staff members can use their judgement should they think a member is causing a problem.

Use common sense; think before you type. We reserve the right to remove anybody at any time from the Discord server without prior warning. Staff members can punish anybody in any way they see fit. Should you not agree with their punishment, then you can open a ticket for review.
