Section 14: Gangs/Colors/MC’s rules
Section 14: Gangs/Colors/MC’s rules
In Rustic we allow for Gangs and MC’s or color groups (referred to as groups from here). Groups must apply using the Discord ticket system to become an official recognised group in the city.
14.1 | A member cap of 20 is in force for groups. This may change as we grow. Each group MUST keep an up to date Google Doc spreadsheet of all their members and state their position, their steam hex ID, Discord username and their activity status.
14.2 | For a group to remain active in the city, it must have at least 5 active members. This is also the minimum amount of members required to create a group.
14.3 | If a group comes across a fresh player, they should make an effort to introduce them to the city and not rob them. It makes for a sour experience if the first thing that happens to you is that you get robbed. This gives a bad name for the group and a sour taste of the city. If groups are seen to violate this then they will receive a group strike.
14.4 | In the interest of fairness members can only be a part of one group (this is across all characters), this is to prevent metagaming.
14.5 | If groups are seen to be breaking rules they can and will receive group strikes, this can result in the group being disbanded.
14.6 | When a group is in a conflict they must be wearing group colors or group clothing.
14.7 | If two groups form an alliance and go to war with another group the alliance groups must wear some form of clothing which identifies they are working together.
14.8 | If a group has 2 or more banned members this can result in the group being disbanded.
14.9 | When a group is in a redzone they must wear the official colors/clothing. They cannot group up with another group wearing different colors. If they want to group up they must all be wearing the same colors.
14.10 | Storing vehicles not owned by the group or its members and putting them in group garages is not allowed. If a group is caught doing this they will be subject to strikes.
14.11 | You CANNOT use one of your own gang members as a hostage for any crimes.
Group Strikes
Groups have the same strike system as citizens.
Minor
3 strikes
Group warning, individual offenders could also receive a strike
Strikes will expire after 30 days
Moderate
2 strikes
Group will face suspension (temporary disbandment) for upto 14 days.
Strikes will expire after 60 days
Major
1 strike
Group are at risk of having their group disbanded or suspended
Strike will expire after 90 days from the date of the strike unless perma-disbanded
The above table is not exhaustive, staff, admins, SLT and SMT reserve the right to disband or ban your group for any offense should it be warranted. Strikes can be combined, i.e if you get 2 minors and 1 moderate your group or individuals within the group could be subject to a vacation or suspension. If you have 1 moderate and then receive a major you could be perma-banned.
The staff, admin and SMT/SLT teams will dictate what constitutes which category of strike. This will be universal, so if you get a minor strike for something and someone else does the same offense they will be equally punished and receive the same level of strike. We do not disclose which offense relates to which strike as each case is different and reviewed on a case by case basis.
Repeated strikes for the same offense can result in a ban.
